Followers do not pay invoices. Recognition does.
For a local business, social media is not a broadcast channel. It is the place a customer checks to see whether you are real and still trading.
A homeowner about to spend four thousand dollars looks you up. They find a profile with nine posts, the last one from fourteen months ago. Nothing there says you are dishonest — it just says nothing at all, at the exact moment they were looking for reassurance.
So the goal is not virality. It is a feed that proves the work is real and recent: finished jobs, the crew, the process, the occasional thing that went wrong and how it was handled. That last category outperforms polished content consistently, because it is the only kind a competitor cannot copy.
We build the strategy and calendar, produce the content to the brand system, and manage the community. Where paid makes sense we run it — but only where the numbers justify it, not because a platform sold it to you.

Social Media Marketing for your trade
IndustriesStraight answers
Social Media Marketing · FAQWhich platforms actually matter for a local business?
Usually fewer than you think. For most Windsor and London trades and restaurants it is Facebook and Instagram, with Google Business Profile posts doing more work than either. We would rather run two properly than six badly, and we will say so before taking money for six.
Do we need to be on TikTok?
Only if your customers are there and you can sustain it. For a roofer serving Essex County, almost certainly not. For a restaurant or salon, often yes. The honest test is whether you can keep it up for six months — an abandoned account is worse than no account.
Can you use photos we take on the job?
Yes, and we prefer it. A real photo of your crew on a real site beats stock every time. We will show you the four things to do with a phone camera that make job-site photos usable.
