Privacy policy

MafiaClickConvert is a marketing studio based in Windsor, Ontario. This page explains what happens to your information when you use this website. It is written in plain language rather than legal boilerplate, because you should actually be able to tell what we do.

**What we collect.** If you fill in the contact form, we receive the name, business name, email address, phone number, city, service interest, current website and message you type into it. That is all information you chose to give us. We do not buy contact lists and we do not scrape them.

**Why we collect it.** To reply to you. That is the entire purpose. If you become a client, we keep the same details so we can do the work and invoice you.

**What we do not do.** We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not add you to a mailing list, a drip sequence or a newsletter because you asked us a question. If we ever want to email you about something other than your own enquiry, we will ask first.

**Automated technical data.** Our server records an irreversible hash of your IP address with each form submission. It is used only to stop the same machine submitting hundreds of times and cannot be turned back into your IP address. Standard web server logs are kept briefly for security and then discarded.

**Cookies.** This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If you sign in to the private team area, a session cookie is set so you stay signed in. That is the only cookie on the site.

**Where it is stored.** Enquiries and client records are held in a Supabase database on servers in North America. The site is hosted by Hostinger. Notification emails are sent through our own domain email.

**How long we keep it.** Enquiries that do not become work are removed within two years. Client records are kept for as long as we work together, and for seven years afterward where Canadian tax and business record-keeping rules require it.

**Your rights.** You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email or phone using the details below and we will action it. There is no form to fill in and we will not make it difficult.

**Children.** This site is aimed at business owners. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under sixteen.

**Changes.** If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date below changes with it.
